Hydrotherapy at Pioneering Care Partnership
What is a hydrotherapy pool and how is it different from a swimming pool?
A hydrotherapy pool is smaller than a swimming pool, much warmer and typically shallower. Our Hydrotherapy pool features massage jets and mobility aids to improve the experience and safety of customers.
The combination of warm water surrounding the body, movement and gentle exercise that achieves fantastic results for maximum health and wellbeing benefits.
The temperature of the water being at a minimum of 32 degrees relaxes the muscles and alleviates pain. The sense of freedom provided by the water offers a greater range of movement and the resistance allows for exercises that can strengthen the muscles.
Who does hydrotherapy benefit?
Hydrotherapy is beneficial for people of all ages, especially those with conditions like arthritis, chronic pain, mobility issues, neurological conditions, and injuries needing rehabilitation.
Key benefits:
Pain Relief: Warm water soothes sore muscles and reduces joint pain.
Improved Mobility: Buoyancy eases movement and reduces joint pressure.
Enhanced Circulation: Promotes healing by improving blood flow.
Stress Relief: Warm water provides relaxation, reducing stress and tension.
Hydrotherapy is a gentle yet effective way to support health and well-being through the healing power of water.
