Jak Smith
Jak is a specialist Psychological Therapist and has worked across NHS Specialist Service since 2011. He has experience of Addictions Service, Neurorehabilitation and The Centre for Specialist Psychological Therapies where he currently works as part of the Cognitive Analytic Therapy Service as a trainer, supervisor and clinician. Jak has also worked as an associate with Clarity Psychology since 2020 building on his extensive experience of working across independent practice with individuals, couples and teams.
Jak’s clinical registrations include being an accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with BACP, with further qualification and registration as an Accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist and EMDR Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).
Jak is passionate about fostering strong therapeutic relationships and working collaboratively towards individuals goals and outcomes, supporting people to live fulfilling lives. Alongside my clinical work, he enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, attending music events and all things related to arts and creativity.
